Dr. Anthony Walley is a 2003 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was born in California and moved to Iowa in his early teens. At an early age, Anthony discovered his love of animals and an innate desire to help them. Growing up, Anthony raised various animals, from goats to geese and dogs, and always enjoyed participating in their care and welfare. He received an associate's degree at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA, before continuing on to the renowned ISU veterinary program located in Ames, Iowa. Anthony has practiced for several years in the Chicago western suburbs, and hopes to continue to do so. His wife is also a practicing veterinarian and they have 3 dogs (Maddie, Henry, and Olive) and 2 cats (Cordelia and Rocky) together. Although Anthony is a experienced general practitioner, his interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, and oncology. When not working, Anthony enjoys spending time with his friends, family and pets, playing basketball, and gardening.
Dr. Esther Ling is also a 2003 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her undergraduate studies were also done at ISU, where she majored in Animal Science. Born in Singapore, Esther moved to Iowa when she was 6 years old, and has lived in several small Iowa towns during her childhood. Her high school years were spent in Sioux City, IA. She and Dr. Walley met in her second year of veterinary school and they were married the same week of graduation. They moved to the Chicago suburbs shortly thereafter, and have been practicing in this area since then. Her special interests include internal medicine (especially endocrinology and infectious diseases), and rescue work. In her free time, she appreciates spending time with family and friends (including the four-legged ones!), reading, being outdoors, crocheting, music, and cooking.
