Emergency & Walk-Ins

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as rodent bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.  There will be an emergency exam fee of $60.

Although we recommend a scheduled appointment, we will accept walk in appointments.  However, there will be a walk in fee of $10, in addition to the regular exam fee.  Scheduled appointments are encouraged so we can keep wait times down for our clients and patients.  We know how stressful a vet visit can be for your pet (and for some owners!) so minimizing wait times is of the utmost importance to us.

We are now offering boarding! Please read the information below regarding policy and procedures. Feel free to call us at anytime with questions.

Walk Outside: Any canine boarding will be leash walked outside by our trained kennel assistants a minium of three times daily. (Please note in the near future we will have a fenced in outside area that will include runs and turf.)

Feeding: We feed Hill's Science Diet I/D. If you pet eats a different brand of food or is currently on a special diet please bring enough food for their stay. Please kindly label the food and/or food container prior to arriving. Any food remaining at the end of your pets' stay will be sent home with you.

Medications: Pets requiring daily oral or topical medication should bring the medication and be prepared to go over the instructions will one of our veterinary technicians/kennel assistant. There will be a $3 per day charge.

Toys and Personal Items: We will provide bowls, blankets, and bedding for your pet. Any toys, personal items or other belonging will be left at your own risk. We will make every attempt to return any items left with your pet, but we cannot be responsible for the destruction or loss of those items during the boarding visit. We will have you take off your pets' leash/collar when dropping off.

We are a medical supervised boarding facility. To ensure the safety of your pet as well as others, we require that all dogs are current on Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella (within the last 6 months), Canine Influenza (both H3N8 and H3N2) and a negative intestial parasite within the past 6 months. The second influenza booster may be performed at the time of boarding. All cats need to be current with Rabies, FVRCP and a negative intestial parasite within the past 6 months.

Any disease which potentially poses a risk to general boarding population (i.e. parasites, infections, etc.) will be treated upon diagnosis and any fees for these treatments will be incurred by the owner.
